That stuff takes financial discipline... It's not hard to do, but you gotta want to do it.

If you are young and have fewer responsibilities, I recommend you start building your emergency fund. It is harder to build an emergency when you are older. Im in the process of applying for a mortgage now and I still have £5k emergency fund that I saved up when I was at uni.

I have a steak in the fridge thawing that I found cleaning out my freezer. Pretty sure that’s my emergency fund but I’m feeling pretty frugal😂

If you've never experienced a medical emergency with your pet and are unaware of what that vet bill looks like, you're in for an unpleasant surprise.

My biggest financial advice from experience is dont let the credit cards rack up. The interest is whats gunna kill u in the long run. Which is duhhhh but yuh know shit happens. We find ourselves in hard places. The minimum payment doesnt look soo bad on its own but when ur getting charged like 85% of that number as interest on top ur just bandaging the wound but never fully stopping the bleeding.

Why would you need an emergency fund when you can just die instead? All problems solved.
