  Yes, cause the Rich just keep getting richer the poor. Just keep getting poorer and that’s how it’s set up things need to go back to a balance. There’s no way for the middleman to get ahead anymore. My parents started off very poor and never owned a business they were able to buy a house pretty much like everybody else and ended up in a pretty great spot that’s because they worked hard and saved their money. That’s not possible today. It’s impossible. You can’t save what you don’t have. The cost of living exceeds most incomes by 300%.

  Wtf, What middle class. It was wiped out in the 80's. The middle has not existed since the Reagan admin allowed the gutting of the middle class and shipping it function to china. Dead. Middle class means one income, kids, 2 cars, a house with a yard, good schools, no crime...Gone.

  I’ve been listening to these types of podcasts/debates for years now, the best and brightest are generally pointing to the same issues and solutions, nothings being implemented, over the last few months I’ve come to realise it’s actually over, sure the people are waking up, nothings changing though, it’s only getting worse the world over, the globalisation experiment worked for a good while after ww2, it’s time is up now as the established world handed over its means of production, that was the beginning of the end. Comfort breeds complacency, complacency breeds stagnation and stagnation brings on collapse, history may not repeat but it does have a rhyme to it, I got a good 30 years out of my 40, sorry to the youth that missed the boat, don’t be deceived by the allure of socialism or communism, read books like the gulag archipelago and you’ll understand.

  Let's face it people, it's just not sustainable now. It will be the ultra-rich and the poor. The middle class has slipped away. Honestly, people are exhausted by a rat race where hard work no longer reliably leads to getting ahead. They're being nickel-and-dimed to death by fees, over-taxed, and squeezed by asset-stripping costs that price them out of homeownership while rents climb to unsustainable levels. It's a rational response to a system that feels increasingly rigged against the average person. We're witnessing a quiet revolt against these conditions. The middle class has been hollowed out, leaving a growing divide between the ultra-wealthy and everyone else. Recent reports from Bank of America highlight a troubling trend: more people are now using credit cards not for discretionary spending, but as a basic budgeting tool to survive month to month—financing groceries, utilities, and everyday essentials. That's not what credit was meant for, and it's a clear sign of deeper strain. Wages have stagnated for years while inflation has eroded purchasing power. In this high-cost environment...."working harder" at traditional jobs often isn't enough. Navigating stagnant wages requires aggressive income optimization—side hustles, skill upgrades, with a very disciplined expense management scheme. But even that only goes so far when the fundamentals (housing, healthcare, education) keep outpacing income growth.

  I still have adult children living in my house. I find friends taking a second mortgage so their children can get on the property ladder. All my 4 sons work or self employered. Saving is important but the cost of living high.

  CBDCs will be timed, making saving impossible. Saving, as a united household policy, used to be the very definition of the middle class. In contrast, among the so-called working class, one individual often had to save in secret, keeping the stash hidden from the rest of the household if addiction spending was a factor.

  We as a society should not be OK with corporations making billions of dollars in profit. They are making something for a quarter and selling it to us for five dollars and that should not be acceptable.

It calculates the day of the year when the nation as a whole has earned enough money to completely pay off its total collective tax bill. Historically, that day lands right in 'mid-to-late April'—meaning Americans do routinely spend more than the entire first 100+ days of the year working purely for the government before keeping their own money. Think about that, and 🤔 WAKE UP!

  I am an RN and have a medical side business. I do almost 7 figures and I am todays' middle class. Rich by CA standards is around 5 million a year.six figures under 350k is honestly lower middle class here.

  So when everyone earns a much higher wage and suddenly afford an average house and nicer car, etc… what do you think happens to inflation due to spike in demand ? Paying a ton of people more money out of nowhere isn’t the best solution. At the same time, loopholes and other accounting tricks need to be closed.

  There used to be a middle ground and it's important to look closely at it. Clearly, with technology, times have changed. But things like antitrust rules with larger businesses protected the middle income earners to some degree....
