  Big sleep is the track in HUT where the weeknd finally dies. Not physically but an ego death. No more boasting, no more crass language, no more sex talk. All the tracks after it are about unraveling the trauma, letting go and seeking repentence, first through finding religion again then going deeper into healing his inner child and his relationship with his mother, seeking forgiveness and breaking down the guilt that drove him to spiral for years. In the video Abel watches the old tired worn out character( the weeknd) wander around. He watches almost pitifully then brings Giorgio Moroder to put the old man out of his misery. Moroder ends him (with a prayer), and then Abel and Moroder part ways. The rest of us get blinded by the lights I guess. I'm not sure what the lights mean but Moroder says "wake me up with light" at some point. I think the pointing finger means divine judgement and the foot means wandering. The pieces are from the ruins of a statue called 'the colossus of Constantine'. Constantine famously converted from Paganism to Christianity (and later was baptized on his deathbed). The statue was later destroyed and pillaged for its bronze parts. [I saw someone copypaste this comment on tiktok. This is only my take.]

  This is in my opinion, the deepest song on the album, about wasting your life by sinning all throughout it and there is no chance of redemption now . It is the time for the slumber from which no one awakes. Absolutely love it. XOTWOD.
