  Stats show 90% of women vote democrat if they are single. 75% women vote Republican if they are married. Men statistically vote generally the same no matter their marital status.

  It should be said that men in South Korea are extremely conservative. The gap between men and women there is 10x worse than in America.

  I hate how often people qoute the korean movement, and try applying it in other countries. I have lived in Korea for years - I have never felt treated less like a human than there. The problem is women not recieving any justice in south korea for any crimes comitted towards them. And than both sides being terribly extreme in public about it.

  I don't think "angry" is right, it's "scared" - getting pregnant is too much of a risk, especially before you’ve set yourself up.

  BIG difference between actual crime and perception of crime. Actual crime is down significantly, perception of crime is up massively.

  The vast majority of Korean women do not support this movement but want an improvement in the system. Two decades ago, an actress revealed that she was brutally assaulted by her husband. The court said that by exposing this, she was bringing dishonor to her family. Unfortunately, she couldn't handle the pressure from the public and the system that blamed her, even with proof. Sadly, she committed a fatal act against herself. The Korean system is a mess; you get a harsher sentence for drug possession than for rape and assault.
