  What I appreciate about flowery is that he is a true subversion of flowey. He is deceitful, he cheats, he is smart as a whip and knows the deal with the prophecy, he can mess with the world as he knows it, he is a clear antagonist. BUT. He is also kind, brave, and selfless. When he tries to keep Asgore in the dark world it is because he is attempting to break with the prophecy. He understands that he is going up against fate itself but still wants a crack at it. He is not even a human. Much like flowey he likely lacks a soul, but unlike flowey who was created as a sort of freak accident, flowery was given love and attention by Asgore for years. He was RAISED in a way by Asgore to be good. And he went out like a damn hero.

  I just want people to really let it set in that all 7 flowers are literally fighting for the sake of someone who never asked them for *anything* and are *unanimously* accepting of their own mortality in the process. They are, every single one of them, fighting just for Asgore to be happy again, if just for a brief moment. With their lives on the line regardless of the outcome. Genuinely cannot think of anything more ride or die than that.

  I'm actually a big fan of Ralsei's extreme dislike for Flowery in this chapter, because what do both Ralsei and Flowery have in common? They are both heavy references to (but are NOT the literal embodiments of) the same character: Asriel Dreemurr. It is very likely that Ralsei saw himself in Flowery, and (as Flowery himself says) was jealous of him. Everything Flowery did went against what Ralsei has taught himself not to do throughout his adventure. "Do not keep too many dark worlds open, the roaring will start". "Do not keep lightners trapped in dark worlds, they have real lives to live". "Do not pretend to be something you're not, you are a darkner meant to help lightners". It's no wonder Ralsei is so angry with him--Flowery is EVERYTHING Ralsei tries not to be. And yet, he does understand Flowery in the end. Because they have a similar dream, after all: they just want to make lightners happy.

  Through the entire chapter, I was expecting Flowery to turn on everyone, to became evil, but in the end, Flower man was an hero, I just couldn't see it

  Cannot stop thinking of the line 'ten foot twenty' because with regular measurements it'd be eleven foot eight probably And because this song is from the perspective of the flowers thinking Asgore deserves everything, I think they're calling him twice the normal man of five foot ten. To them, Asgore is much more than a regular person to them that they literally double his everything when speaking about him It also being at the very start is like an introduction; Hello, I am Flower Man Asgore, and I am 10'20"

  What kills me about this fight is that flowery, at least against kris, is objectively in the right. He is actually the hero here. He doesnt want to cause anybody any harm, he just wants his friends/family (who are all good people) to live, and for their father to be happy. Kris, on the other hand, is actively worning twords the goal of causing an appocalypse. You could even say this is some sort of... battle against a true hero.

  I like this boss a lot. Flowery isn't on his lonesome, he has friends who are willing to take his side--even when, in the grander scheme of things, it'll lead to misery. It feels very different from the other bosses the protags have faced; they're coordinating with eachother, not out of obligation, but because it's what they can see is true. Even if Kris has been cordial with them, they can't have both Flowery and Kris as the leader even though they desperately want to.

  The hardest part of this fight was trying to pay attention to the lyrics while getting blasted because i wasn't used to the new soul type. It felt like if a karaoke machine was holding me at gunpoint
