  O'Leary, saying "nobody just hooks up to the grid anymore" and "everyone has to bring their own power" is simply false. Some new AI data centers are being built with dedicated on-site generation, but many are still being built with major grid connections. You're presenting one approach as if it's now the rule for the entire industry.

  But the reality is that the local communities are literally having their power costs increased. When it comes to Texas... we are in a drought every few years. We also have people taking water from rural communities to send to big cities due to the amount of illegals being allowed in the country. They also effect the wells of those rural communities. Yes, we need nuke plants.

  The problem is privacy.. This is the core problem, not data centers inherently. That said, If we can't, as a species, figure out how to protect peoples privacy in their home and in public, this infrastructure needs to stop until we get there.
