Dude .... That intro went far more poetic and deep than Dr Who deserves lol

Sad part is, at this point fans aren't even sad Dr. Who is gone they're either indifferent, wondering why it took so long or more angry at how it ended but happy it did so it wasn't dragged through the mud any more.

"survived 60 years of social change and upheaval." Couldn't survive The Message.. that's truly remarkable.

Don’t cry because it happened. Smile because it’s over.

Disney doesn't disappoint when it comes to disappointing

It's so weird isn't it? When you're a fan of Dr.Who and actually pleased it gets cancelled.

Dr Who being cancelled isn't a cause for tears, its a cause for celebration. Finally the horrendous abuse is over.

Like Star Wars and Star Trek the people just do not care anymore. They are not mad, they just do not care. That is how badly they destroyed their audience...

Sad to see Dr. They/Them never turned out how they wanted

And this is how Doctor Who dies… with thunderous apathy.

Doctor Who leaned left, and fell off the edge, right into a Jaguar ad.

DW fans 2010: “We don’t want you to go.” DW fans 2026: “PLEASE GO!!!”

The Daleks tried hard to kill the Doctor. The BBC made it look ridiculously easy.

You know a franchise went down the toilet a long time ago when ending it makes the fans say “finally”

unironically better writing on that intro than the entire recent Dr.Who season

To destroy a nation from within first destroy its history, its heroes and its culture. Dr Who's destruction is part of that

Eccleston, Tennant, Smith, Capaldi. I grew up with them, I jumped up and down in front of the TV when the Christmas specials played, had nightmares because of the Wheeping Angels, cheered when the Daleks fought the cybermen. Felt heartbreak for the first time when Rose and the Dr were separated. Laughed when Smith and Tennant met, felt the weight of the Dr's regrets when "Gallifrey burns" and cheered when it became "Gallifrey burns no more". Thats Dr. Who to me. It always will be, I refuse to acknowledge anything after.

"you either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain"

Let the past die - kill it if you have to. Well, they certainly did that, it's just there's nothing to replace it with.
