  Fun fact: Jay-Z wanted Shyheim on this song originally and even called Big Daddy Kane to have him but Shyheim’s team declined. The next day he saw Memphis Bleek in the street (whom he knew as the little brother of a guy named Andre) and gave him the verse then told him he had 24h to learn it or he wouldn’t be on his album 😂 Bleek couldn’t read Hov’s shitty handwriting but managed to deliver the verse flawlessly and now we got this masterpiece 🔥
