They ended it perfectly in TS3. There was no reason to go anywhere beyond that. *edit - no reason except for shameless cash grabs... ;)

I’ll make a thousand Toy Story’s before I let this company die! -Pixar, probably

This reminds me of that gag from Family Guy about Disney’s needless sequels. Aladdin 4: Jaffar Might Need Glasses 😂

No, as far as I'm concerned - the Toy Story films ended with the toys saying goodbye to Andy on that porch and that's that.

"Did we really need this?" that phrase can be used for 90% of Hollywood projects today. There's really no point to it.

Disney how long will you milk this franchise? Disney: To Infinity and Beyond….

Toy Story 3 should have been the end. It celebrated the children who grew up with the characters entering adulthood and passing on the wonders of childhood to the next generation.

If I had a dollar for everytime Disney trying to revive the dead horses, I would be a millionaire by now.

Toy Story 3's ending was such a profound ending that only grows on you more the older you get.

Toy Story is a franchise that managed to do what most fail at: A good Sequel AND Trilogy. That's very difficult to pull off, but Pixar did it. Instead of allowing the story to end they've expanded it when they didn't need to. John Lasseter said himself "a good story has a beginning, a middle and end". Pixar needs to let the Toys' Story end.

From the company that failed to sell Lightyear, Marvel and Star Wars toys: a movie showing parents the importance of buying their children toys.

Honestly if this movie can convey to kids just how bad it is to sit and stare at a screen all day, then it's movie of the century.

Something to remember is that all of Pixar’s movies, up to and including Wall-E, were invented during a single extended lunch wherein all of their best writers and other creative types brainstormed for hours. Most of those writers and artists have since been fired or otherwise chased away, so the talent to make more good movies is gone.

4:50 I’m sorry, what? The movie *does* hit on the point of technology needing a balance. That’s literally *how* the movie ends, with technology still playing a role, but not being the only thing Bonnie and Blaze use to play. It portrays the bad and the good that technology can do throughout the whole movie, and ultimately ends it with “there can be balance”.

I just had an amazing thought: I've decided that parts 4 and 5 are not canon, and Toy Story is a perfect trilogy. Life is good.

Bruh I watched it with my kids and holy moly it was good. Let yourself enjoy it and it was a really good time. It gives me hope they're trying to learn from the mistakes of the past by actually just writing really good stories.
