I am a 40-something who has listened to Metallica for over 30 years. I have recently become somewhat saddened that the music and movies that defined our world throughout the 80s, 90s, and even 00s are completely unknown to the younger generations. I was chatting with a young engineering intern the other day. He is perhaps 19/20. I've tried connecting with him on across many different interests other than our career paths...games, movies, tv shows, music genres, hobbies...dude is a wall. Yesterday I asked him if he had a favorite band or artist. After a few moments of silent pondering he replied: "I like Metallica." In a world that is so crazy and saturated with billions of people screaming for attention, it is a testament to Metallica's influence that they remain a distinct voice that still manages to not only cut through the noise but continue to make new connections with people of all ages.

One day Metallica will retire and I will be sad, but the music will endure forever. That band helped me thru a lot of tough times the last 40 years. Thank You Metallica ❤

Was there with my dad, saw him just go silent when James stood in front of him and sang the chorus…gave me a memory that’ll last forever. Go raibh maith agaibh, a bhuachaillí ☘️

The intro is one of the most beautiful in the heavy metal genre. I remember when this song came out, and it's still one of my favorites 30 odd years later. Mesmerizing!

This is one of the cleanest versions of any song they have done in a while, and omg, the sound quality is the best I've heard this year from amy concert. So cool!

I was there, my first time seeing them. I used to listen to these guys in Australia at high school and became nothing short of obsessed. I was always going to see them one day but nothing will ever top the experience and excitement of finally getting to see them perform live

Usually never comment on YouTube videos, but this is one of , if not the best gig iv ever been too. They were unreal from start to finish! First time seeing them and if they come back to Ireland , even if they are 70, I will certainly be going again. Only regret is I didn’t go to both nights!
