  Because people are tired of having their land taken away so that billionaires can get richer. He knows darn well why there are protests.

  Yes, you need electricity for the economy but you don't need electricity that cost 30 times more to produce like with wind and solar and a lot of cases when you compare total production hours per year per cost. Nuclear is the only real option. Hydroelectric is great, but we've pretty much built all the dams we can or are allowed to build. There's only so many canyons that can be dammed up and we've realized that damning up canyons too drowned the surrounding wildlife isn't always the best idea now. It still makes sense in desert areas where you need water reserves and in extreme weather areas where you need flood control. But for the most part we need to focus on nuclear and it doesn't have to be the giant plants of old. They have these tractor trailer sized mini units that can produce 10 megawatts or more in some cases and could be dispersed directly and evenly as needed where needed. They are much safer. They are much cleaner. They are much more controllable. They need very little manpower and produce massive amounts of electricity and yet one party's always against it because they would much rather have their graft from the green energy plans.

  Most of the opposition stems from the concern over AI taking away people's livelihoods. The environmentalists comprise just a small fraction.

  I think people have no trust in the billionaire class. AI Agents have no ethics nor morals and who trusts them to do the right things?
