  RM explained that "Merry Go Round" reflects the sadness, isolation, and exhausting emotional routines BTS experienced during their military service, also Merry Go Round" uses the endlessly spinning motion of a carousel as a metaphor for being trapped in an exhausting, repetitive cycle of daily life, mental loops, and the heavy pressures of adulthood, I freaking love this masterpiece.

  A pesar de tener un ritmo melódico y pegajoso en el estribillo, los versos de la rap line (Suga, J-Hope, RM) transmiten una carga emocional bastante cruda sobre el deseo de "frenar" y escapar del estrés cotidiano.💜
