Guys you don’t even know. Being from Slovakia and knowing some of these places from the mv. The bar I go to, the streets and the fountain. Me and my friends we feel so seen. Thank you so much Adéla. You are a STAR honey and we are sending you so much love, from Slovakia to our true Queen.

It's giving "We live in cities you'll never see on-screen," and I mean that in the best way possible.

This song was never about LA. Coming from a small Balkan country and all my childhood being obsessed with living the big American dream, being obsessed with the whole California Tumblr and pop culture in the early 2010's, that felt like a whole another life I'll never be able to witness or live for myself. This song is about making your childhood dreams come true and realizing you don't always have to be from LA to make it in LA. The whole concept of the MV being the 2010's Tumblr California aesthetic but in a slavic environment is just genius. She captured perfectly the vibes and the 2010's nostalgic sound, it's like Lady Killers and We can't stop had a baby.

I’m not Slavic but this song genuinely hits so hard as someone who grew up wanting that flashy “L.A. dream” 😭

This is what she meant in DA when she said solvaks weren’t represented. This is what. She wanted. She literally made representation for her culture. This is monumental.

It's so refreshing to have a rising pop star who actually has something to say! Her discography has no skips btw!

It’s kinda romantic that we’re all here together having this realization that we can be the baddest b*tch of our own, regardless of race or borders!!! Cheers to all of us!! ❤ from a small town in South East Asia!

Adéla is THE beginning of Slavic representation in music. As a Czech girl living in Canada, I grew up without Slavic representation, never hearing or seeing anything about my country or people. Telling others I was Czech meant hearing “what’s Czech?” and having to use more known countries to explain where my country even is. I began to disconnect from my heritage and culture; losing my ability to speak Czech to prioritize English, disregarding my traditional food for Americanized fast food, replacing my cultural traditions with more popularized traditions. This lack of representation has not only affected me but many other Slavic’s. I want to thank Adéla for being THE Slavic representation I craved my entire life, you really are a role model for so many.❤️❤️❤️ I even downloaded duolingo to learn Czech again! 😅

I come from a very poor family in a Slavic country as a lot of people here in the comments, and always watched American youtubers and their dream lives. My dream was always to be a performer. I devoted my whole life to making a corporate career that would take me to a big city where I could finally realize my dream of performing. Now at 30 I’ve danced with the backup dancers of Jennie, chroeographers for Le Sserafim, Tate Mcrae and Lady Gaga’s back up dancers etc. I’ve experienced so much I never thought I’d even come close to. But there isn’t a second I don’t miss home. I always give back to my family and friends at home as they are everything to me. So this made me tear up. Thank you Adela.

I love this song because, though im not Slavic, im southeast asian, and I feel very represented by this. Always wanting to “fit in”, do the trends, dream of the Hollywood Beverly Hills lifestyle you see on YouTube or old Instagram, sometimes you feel depressed with the comparisons, but this showed how we can feel comfortable wherever we are. We just need to love ourselves and embrace OUR lifestyle ❤
